The 2018 DCHI Non-Domestic Master Class Event
Following excellent feedback from the previous Master Class, this year we again have Andrew Knapp from Coles Knapp presenting this DCHI Master Class. Andrew is a highly experienced and knowledgeable trainer and assessor with many years’ working in the "real world" of non-domestic energy assessment. He works in both England and Wales as well as providing training support to accreditation schemes.
The content is intended to enhance the knowledge & skills of all non domestic Assessors by addressing the more challenging situations encountered and the changes to the conventions as they have developed.
Proposed Content areas
Guidance on the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) in the Private Rented Sector (PRS) regulations and how to help clients understand their options for improving buildings to meet the standards.
Lighting - the different ways to apply it and what gives the best results.
Conventions - the Master Class is timed to occur between the planned release of the new conventions and their likely implementation date. This is an ideal opportunity for assessors to make sure they are fully up to speed with the changes by the time they happen.
And much more....
This promises to be an interesting and highly valuable day of CPD. CPD certificates will of course be provided and should be acceptable to all accreditation schemes.
This master class event is intended for practicing Non-Domestic Assessors of all levels. The focus will be on enhancing the skills and abilities of all existing, experienced non domestic assessors. It will not dwell on basic input or “how to pass an audit”. It may also be invaluable to assessors in the final stages of training but is not for people who do not already know the basics.
